1. We do not have "New Jersey" accents (which are really New York accents)
2. We're not all Italian (my family has been located in New Jersey for over 100 years and I am not Italian.)
3. Almost no one on The Jersey Shore is actually from New Jersey.
4. No one actually goes to Seaside anymore. It's probably one of the crappiest beaches. If we go on vacation, we go to nice beaches like Cape May and LBI.
Believing all of these stereotypes about us New Jerseyans is like saying that all people from the South live in trailer parks and watch Nascar all day with a six pack (and I'm not talking about this kind!) and a bucket of KFC. Rethink NJ. Peace.
